For nine years, Belleville Christian School has led students through the Leader in Me process. Based on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Leader in Me helps kids to develop healthy habits of mind, practical goal-setting strategies, and personal responsibility. It is important to note that the 7 Habits were not created or “just made up”; they were observed and recorded. Across industries, cultures, and time, highly successful people live out the 7 Habits, and each one of them finds its roots in Scripture.

Leader in Me is just one of the tools we can use to practically apply our faith to our work, play, and interactions. Now that we are not only a certified Leader in Me school but also a certified Teaching for Transformation school, we will spend some PD time learning how to integrate the two more effectively.

We want our kids to be passionate disciples of Jesus Christ, who use their gifts and talents to impact the world!
